I am a project manager. I work on power stations, phone and internet networks, and construction. My job is to make the plan, keep everyone working together, and report honestly on progress.
I did not study engineering. I learned the technical side step by step, and today I lead the engineers, contractors and budgets behind projects worth millions of dollars.

I studied Mass Communication, then started in product management. Each job after that was a little more technical. I never became an engineer, but I learned enough to lead engineers, ask the right questions, spot problems early and get projects delivered.
